Still in the queue, but working on the five books ahead of it. When they are done both this book and the next dragon book will be up. It may be 2026 by then, depending on how flowing these other books are. But this book will be written.
First book of the Alliance series.
What is the Alliance?
It is a conglomerate of 5 races that occupy a section of space that includes over 50 star systems. It is run by The Regent through his Nein.
In this book the first human Nein (Fiona) introduces the Alliance to the human Federation. The humans are not pleased that they are not the top of the food chain any more, that their laws mean nothing in the Alliance, and that they can't just take over the whole thing.
Humans are not the good guys in these books. Not all of them are bad, but humans didn't leave their prejudices behind when they went into space, just transferred them. If you are within a certain degree of human you are golden, but if not...well, expect to be exploited and considered third class.
Have those 5 books to write before this one comes up.
Unless the story jumps the line. Which could happen. My Muse is so fickle.
